I began my musical journey at the age of 5. I focused on Hindustani classical music and did classes focusing on not only singing, but also learning how to play the harmonium. I initially focused on the fundamentals: understanding the swaras, learning to identify different ragas, and the taals associated with them. Eventually, I decided to further enhance my skills by taking Hindustani classical vocal exams, completing till Grade 3 certification. This also included a theory exam which helped test not only my practical knowledge but about the history and culture of the art itself, and prominent artists that contributed in developing Hindustani classical vocals.

I now continue to perform in community events, school fests and also conduct other performances. I also go past basic raags now and perform different bhajans which help explores different aspects of my religion and culture.
